Issac Maimon and many of our gallery artists will accept commissions. You will need to call the Gallery to discuss the subject matter in consideration.  We will present your request to the artist you wish to have the commission work done by to determine if they are interested and the price for the commission.

If an artist agrees to create a commissioned piece they will give an approximate time for the completion based upon their schedule. The Gallery will require a down payment of 50% in order for the artist to begin work.  The  balance is due upon completion.

Dr. Dennis Downey and Julie Downey have owned and operated this family business for over 23 years. They have developed an unprecedented collection of international artists unrivaled in the Southwest. With two locations and over 5,000 square feet, the gallery represents more than 40 artists, including painters such as Russian master Nikolai Blokhin, along with a large number of newly acquired works from the great plein air painter Andre Shirokov. This year the gallery is proud to introduce our emerging artist portfolio with special recognition to JuLee Simmons, Manuel Nunez, David Felix and Richard Capell.
 
In addition to this fine collection, the gallery is proud to be the exclusive New Mexico representative of international award winning artist Nikolai Blokhin and was honored to host the North American premiere of Blokhin at the Taos Museum in June 2008.
 
The Downey Gallery also is honored to announce international award winning painter Natasha Milashevich, whose Santa Fe premier will take place the summer of 2008.
